Questions

Do tables convert cleanly?

Yes, tables are rebuilt as Markdown tables when the structure is detectable. Complex merged-cell tables fall back to an image reference.

What happens to images?

Images are extracted and referenced in the Markdown with standard image syntax, in reading-order position.

Does this work on scanned PDFs?

Yes. Pages without a text layer are run through OCR automatically before conversion.
